Going to try to lucid dream tonight. I have tried many times but never do I succeed. I’ve been reading what Sleep Paralysis means and why people have them, though I haven’t found a real reason why, because while searching online, many people have had this happen to them, even to have them in a row. But reading “How To Lucid Dream” mentions going into Sleep Paralysis, which I’m not to happy about. You have to lay on your back with your arms beside you, having your eyes closed but keeping awake. After 20-30 minutes you begin to feel pressure on your chest, which now means you’re in Sleep Paralysis, and when opening your eyes you start to hallucinate. I think then you are able to control your dream (though I’m not 100% sure about that part.) I’m going to try this tonight, see what happens, if I literally fall a sleep while my eyes are closed, which is easily done, or I’m just laying there.. waiting for something to appear/happen. I’ve always wanted something weird to happen in my dream, because they’re only dreams, nothing in your dreams can harm you. It’s all in the mind. I’ve had some nightmares, thinking running up to a safe spot would wake me up or save me, but when the creature catches up to me, then I’m basically dead meat, feeling a sharp pain just before I wake up. I can go on all night what I’ve dreamt about, but all I can say is, I enjoy dreaming, whether nightmares or whatever.
