I’m a one to cry during a sad film, not even when it’s to do with death, which I’ve been told I’m cold, but I have to say the chances you’ll see me cry is when it’s to do with children and animals. The main films I have cried at was PS I Love You, Pet Semetary and War Horse, which I was surprised with myself that I felt emotional, though I didn’t show any emotion in front of anyone. I covered my face. PS I Love You wasn’t a film that I’d usually cry at, but I think it was the fact that Jerry’s death was unexpected and she basically couldn’t let go, which left her imagining him, and once the letters started to appear, well that just made it even more upsetting. He wanted her to move on, have a life and do what she’s always wanted to do, which was design shoes. Pet Semetary was all to do with Gage’s death, his little high pitched voice when he said “No Fair” kills me everytime. Seeing his father stick the needle inside his neck, thinking about it now is just as upsetting. And not forgetting the way Louis picks up Church (the cat), he’s all stiff and decomposed. War Horse was all to do with the horse, basically. I cried at some odd scenes, but couldn’t stop when the horse was caught in the barb wire. I don’t understand why I’ve become so emotion lately!
